Hello, Dear Reader,

Welcome to the new all-electric, re-launched, re-booted, well-chewed and celebrated Bay Woof. We’re happy to be with you in any form, but especially in the most accessible, lowest-cost, widest-reaching mode: that device in your hands. Yes, after a nearly five-month hiatus, Bay Woof is back - and we’re wagging right there with you.

This first issue is a check-in after a long absence, featuring community leaders and dog pros sharing their experiences of the past few months, what they’re doing now and what’s ahead. Many of our regular monthly columns are back, too, ready to lift your quarantine spirits with fresh takes on all things canine.

COVID-19 has changed the world for all of us, and for many in our unequal, unprotected society that change has been much harder. But throughout these challenging times, our family pups and working dogs have continued to provide crucial love and support. They’ve even supplied some laughter in the way only a wacky ol’ pooch can do. 

These canine friends deserve our very best and Bay Woof is ready to entertain and educate the humans lucky enough to share their lives. So welcome back, Bay Area dog lovers. Now read on for the inaugural issue of Bay Woof 2.0!
