Welcome to the Dog Days!
The only predictable thing about the weather these days is that it’s not predictable. But in between the heat, storms, and smoke, summer’s longer days mean we get more time outside with our dogs - and what could be better than that?
This month’s issue is a hodgepodge of great stuff: news about good dogs and the good people who help them, tips for life with a new rescue pup, an update on the city’s rolling vet clinics, a call for shelter dog walkers, games to play with your pup, loads more training recs, and a timely reminder to keep it simple (whew!). So before you dive back into fall’s school or work, soak up the last of the dog days by spending some cool time with your best pal. You’ll both be glad you did.
